In the third quarter of 2022, the top five music and podcasts apps in Angola showcased varying performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 10.4K in late June and peaking at 19.6K by mid-September. Active users also grew steadily, from approximately 124.7K to 152.5K over the quarter.

Shazam: Find Music & Concerts experienced a gradual rise in weekly downloads, beginning at 5.6K in early July and reaching around 7K by the end of September. Active users increased from 88.5K to 102.7K during the same period.

Shine Music had fluctuating download numbers, with a notable spike to 6.3K in late August from a low of 1.1K in late July. Active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 4.7K in late August before settling at around 2K by the end of September.
